“i think i've always fought stillness
\nwith chaos… maybe because it feels easier…
\nyou can't be shaken from your footing if
\nyou've never even had it, right?<\/p>\n

but now i'm being asked to
\nstay still in the uncertainty, to try to learn
\nto breathe easy in all this delicate nuance…
\nto start to question the way i've made such a habit
\nout of fearful, so breath-held and chest-tight,
\nalways just hoping<\/em> for gentle in the unknown…<\/p>\n

because what if life doesn't have to just “not hurt”…
\nwhat if there could be something so beautiful
\nwaiting for me in the unknown”<\/em><\/p>\n
