“i have to believe that pain
\ndoesn't just wear our hearts out;
\nthat it stretches them with purpose,
\nthat it's meant to give us a pulse\u2026
\nin breakdown, we are broken open,
\nand in hurt, we find more humanity,
\npassion is stirred from our aches,
\nand empathy is a muscle that grows
\nthe more we feel\u2026 and so we
\ncome out brighter from our darkness.<\/p>\n

maybe if we let it\u2026 our pain can have
\nbeautiful purpose.”<\/em><\/p>\n
