\nhas been a slow fall.
\nand these wings
\nhave been a slow unfold.
\nand there has been a fight here
\nfor my worth, and it sure has
\nbeen a hard-fought one,
\nand this road home has been a long one…
\nbut there's a little bit of light here now.
\nand even though it's been a long
\ntime coming… the light is coming.
\nand as uncertain as i am
\nof how much farther i have to go,
\ni know now that i've got it in me to keep going.
\nand until i feel free… i know now that
