\nas long as i was held tight within his grasp.
\nbut when i was out of his line of sight,
\ni'd better be somewhere
\nsoft-voiced and southern-charmed,
\nsitting still and not looking too pretty.
\nand so i made myself sweeter and smaller
\nand less and less and less, for his fears\u2026
\nand in the end, he still couldn't love me.
\nand i didn't love me either.
\nbut i'm slowly starting to\u2026
\nand i want to love all of me.<\/p>\n

so the next time a boy wants to bring me flowers,
