from over here,
\nlove looks so sweet.
\nbut\u2026 so. terrifying.
\nbecause i don't yet know how.
\nhow to be so close to someone and not
\ncrumble into a wild mess of love
\nwhere i lose me.
\nthe last time i got close\u2026
\nmy god, how i lost me.
\nso much that i could barely feel me. or hear me.
\nand it's the deepest ache i've ever known
\nwhen i can't feel me.
\nso i'm still learning\u2026 how not to dim
\nand quiet and run and hide and tame me.
\nhow to hold my own fire even when
\nmy heart catches fire.
\nhow to hold on so tight to my own depths
\nthat even when i'm tangled deep in you\u2026
\ni'm still always mine\u2026<\/p>\n
