i don't know if our nervous systems are
made for social media… to have so much noise
over our own inner voice trying to influence
who and how we should be…

but i'm learning to say things like…
“who and how i want to be can't be shaken
by what's outside of me. i need to like me…
and that's what i'm going to
let matter to me.”
